Taking more time for myself


There are so many times where I think to myself I need to do a manicure and pedicure/ I need a hair treatment/facial/I wish I could work out more etc...

Well, for the past few weeks I have started taking more time for me. I set up a gym in my back room and can now work out any time I please.

I have a couple of nail polishes I love and have been setting aside time every week to doa  proper manicure and pedicure.

I do a weekly hair treatment and made up a body scrub for the shower which I use daily.

I scheduled in my appointments at my local beauty salon for a few things I want done regularly, but tend to put off.

I've found if I do not set the time, I get neglected. Everyone gets put before me and before I know it I have put on weight, my hands and feet look rough and dry, my hair is splitting and I have 1 inch regrowth.

Not anymore.

I am setting aside mummy me time.

Ideally, I want to lose more weight (I am down to 76kg which I am excited about, but want to be 65 - 68kg). I would love to have a little plastic surgery, but since it is not in my budget right now, I need to do what I can for myself to be my best self.

There is no reason I can't take care of myself, have time for myself and help myself have a more positive self image because I am looking how I want to look instead of wishing my body was better.

No one else will do it. You have to take the time to take care of yourself.
